MADELEINE PAGE

AY FOUNDER | INSTRUCTOR

Madeleine (she/her) is the founder of Allumen Yoga and a lifelong yoga student, teacher, and mentor. Originally from New York, she spent nearly a decade as part of the Modo Yoga community as a senior instructor and member of the Teacher Development team. Madeleine has amassed over 2,000 hours of training and holds certifications in physiyoga and biomechanics, yin and meditation, creative sequencing, and trauma-informed yoga.

Madeleine first stepped onto a yoga mat when she was twelve years old and in that moment, yoga became the backbone of her mental and physical health. Even as an instructor, the most important part of her teaching is to remain a passionate student, something that helps her reach students regardless of where they are in their yoga journey.

AMOR FLORES

INSTRUCTOR

Amor's (she/her) journey in yoga began in Houston, Texas at the age of 19.  Her deep passion for the practice is reflected in 17 years of personal experience and 7 years of teaching. She has honed her skills and knowledge to become a dedicated and influential yoga teacher.

Her training at BIG Power Yoga in Houston, Texas, including the BIG Kids Teacher Training and the 200-hour Teacher Empowerment Program, laid the foundation for her teaching career. She quickly immersed herself in teaching kids yoga full-time, eventually becoming the Director of BIG’s Kids Yoga Program for 2 years.

Amor's commitment to continuous learning is evident in her pursuit of certifications, including Yin Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, and a year-long 300-hour yoga training, which has elevated her to a 500-hour registered yoga teacher. These advanced trainings further equip her with the knowledge and skills to guide her students in a more comprehensive and holistic manner.

In 2020, Amor found her teaching home at BIG Power Yoga in Denver, where she continued to share her passion for teaching powerful flow vinyasa. Her emphasis on creating community and empowering individuals through yoga and self-expression underscores her broader mission within the yoga community.

ANDREW NORDBERG

INSTRUCTOR

Andrew (he/him/his) is a 500-hr YTT certified teacher with foundations in Baptiste Power Yoga and further education in Yin, Restorative, Nidra, and various Sequencing Courses. He has been teaching for nearly 4 years, beginning his journey at Minnesota Power Yoga in Minneapolis, MN, and continuing at BIG, and now Allumen Yoga. The physical challenge of heated power vinyasa originally attracted him to this practice, and the balance of all yoga practices keeps him excited to continue learning. Yoga was also Andrew’s introduction to a regimented mindfulness practice, and meditation continues to be an integral part of his daily life and yoga practice. Andrew’s practice specializes in arm balances and handstands. His classes are focused on building intentional foundations in strength and mobility to achieve and master those poses.

CLAUDIA BRADLEY

INSTRUCTOR

Claudia (she/her) developed a deep passion for yoga at the start of the COVID pandemic. She had been moving and flipping her body all her life — she grew up a gymnast and switched to cheerleading in high school. She continued cheerleading at a collegiate level and won Two National Championships at Indiana University. Upon graduating in 2020 at the heart of the pandemic, Claudia felt lost in life and her body. Cheerleading had left her with injuries and trauma stored deep in the body. She found movement through virtual yoga and quickly fell in love with the physical and also spiritual and philosophical side of the practice. She found safety on the mat and self expression through her movement. Her passion and knowledge with a degree in Human Biology created a bridge in interests to study the body and healing tools within itself.

She cares deeply about mental health and her hope is to create a safe welcoming space for all levels of students so they can move through what they are going through, too. Claudia’s intention is to hold space for students to connect breath, body, and mind every time. She is a 200hr RYT and graduated from Denver Yoga Underground YTT in 2021.

ERYNN TROY

INSTRUCTOR

Erynn (she/her) has been practicing yoga since 2010 and teaching since 2021. She initially found yoga while pursuing her doctorate in Physical Therapy. The physical aspect of yoga was what originally drew her to her mat. However, after years of practice, yoga is now a staple of Erynn’s life for both her mental and physical well-being. Erynn felt called to complete yoga teacher training multiple times after starting her yoga journey. Finally, in December of 2020, she fulfilled this desire and completed her 200 hr training. Erynn’s classes focus on pairing breath with movement and using creative, challenging sequences to allow students to focus on and remain connected to the present moment.

JACKIE MCCARTNEY

KELLY SHADWICK

INSTRUCTOR

Kelly (she/her) grew up in San Diego, CA, and moved to Denver in 2018 to pursue her Masters in Social Work. Growing up as a dancer, she always found connecting with her body and movement as a means of expressing and releasing her emotions. After taking her first yoga class in high school, she quickly developed a love and passion for an intentional hour alone on her mat to connect with her breath, mind and body. In 2016, Kelly completed her RYT 200-hour teacher training from Holy Yoga and taught little kid dance and yoga in San Juan Capistrano, CA until moving to Denver. She has now been teaching in  Denver for the past 4 years and is passionate about providing a safe place for people to come as they are and practice “being”. Kelly’s classes focus on presence, permission and power cultivated through challenging and creative movement.

PATRICIJA MISKINYTE

INSTRUCTOR

Patricija (she/her) teaches and practices yoga because she believes the yoga mat is one of the only places where the soul and the body meet. This powerful union allows conscious breath, silence, self-examination, and ultimately growth - both physical and mental. Her life has changed in countless ways since she started practicing and that is the goal with her students- show them their strength on and off the mat. Off the yoga mat, Patricija loves skiing, hiking, camping, spending time with her friends and family and most of all inspiring and motivating those around her to always push themselves to be the best. Although she loved CO, Patricija is a midwesterner at heart growing up in the Chicago suburbs her whole life (fellow midwesterners say hi!).

RACHEL MEGQUIER

INSTRUCTOR

Rachel (she/her) began practicing yoga as a teenager. Like many, she was first a student of physical practice, but quickly developed an interest in the spiritual and philosophical roots of yoga. As an oncology registered nurse, she saw yogic principles as a way to support her patients through difficult times as well as a way to bolster her own well-being as a caregiver. Since then, she has completed her 200hr YTT here in Denver. She is so grateful for the opportunity to teach and learn with the Denver yoga community. One of her greatest joys as a teacher is opening the door to people who previously held the belief “yoga isn’t for me.” She enjoys using breath work and the sensations of long holds as a means to connect her students with the present moment. Above all, Rachel sees yoga as a tool to aid in the service of others. Through yoga, she aims to offer her students a sense of security, clarity, and personal exploration.

Sarah found yoga through dance in NYC. Yoga felt like home. She loves how movement and breath create embodied meditative awareness. She completed her initial Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training at the White Lotus Foundation in California. Her studies took her to India and France to explore the depths of yoga. She immersed herself in Ashtanga yoga with the guidance of Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor at The Yoga Workshop in Boulder, CO and Tim Miller in Encinitas, CA.
