FAQs

What sets Allumen Labs YTT apart?

We take a hands-on approach in training that prepares you to teach. After graduation, you are eligible for continued mentorship through our Community Classes, so you get to hone your skills right away!

Our trainings are built from a trauma-informed, anatomically sound place that promotes safe spaces for all types of students.

I’m not necessarily interested in teaching — can I take this training anyway?

Many people do yoga teacher trainings without the intent of teaching! And some people find that they go into a training to deepen their own practice, but wind up wanting to share it with others. Yoga teacher training is a wonderfully life-changing experience, and regardless of what you do with it, it’s a great way to learn about yourself and how you interact with the world.

What level of student should I be to take this training?

We encourage people to some familiarity with yoga, but what your practice looks like is up to you! Yoga asana (postures) are just one of the eight limbs of yoga and we’ll spend time exploring all of them.

What kind of homework assignments will I receive?

You’ll average 2-3 hours of homework a week toward your 200 hours. Homework includes assignments like taking yoga classes, journal reflections, reading articles, listening to podcast episodes, etc.

Are there payment plans available?

Yes! Please reach out to info@allumenyoga.com to set one up.
